While the professional • conicsTls a great attraction in itself there will be three preliminaries, as follow:— B. Morgan y. 0. Taylor, fly-weights; J. Carr v. G. Ourran, feather-weights; D. Keily v W. B. Penno, feather-weights; each flvo rounds of two minutes. Keen interest has been taken in the training bouts of the two professionals, and tho association lias decided, with tho consent of tho visitors to allow the-public.to-witness the Ana' training bouts, and on Saturday night Holland and TJren will give an ex- • hibition in the Town Hall. In addition, Havilah Uren and Eugeno Volaire (who are to meet here on June 7) will be seen in action, assisted by prominent amateurs. A charge of 2s. and Is. will be made. The total takings are to be handed to the Olympic Council, who have the wsponsibility of financing a team of Now. Zealand athletes to the Olympic games at Antwerp in August. In connection with the Holland v. Uren contest on Monday, patrons are reminded that day sales of 6s. and 4s. tickets will be on sale from 9 a.m. on Saturday imornlng. : An announcement of interest to followers of tho sport appears in our advertising columns.
