_ The industrial position of the Dorain--10?i \ s ' J(! considered at a conference colled by the Employers' Federation. Tiio conference is to meet in Wellington on June 9, and all the employers' associations throughout New Zealand have been invited to send delegates. It is anticipated 'that the conference will be both largo and representative. The conference is to oonsider the industrial -unrest, that has been manifest for some time past. Prominent employers feel that some means of allaying unrest, securing stable conditions, and increasing production must be sought in the interests of all sections of the community. It is possible that an outcome of the conference will be a meeting with Labour representatives, on lines that have already been discussed.
