It was reported that passages had teen booked on the Euripides from Aue-trali-i. for Miss AValrond and Messrs. .Wilson.'Davidson, and Hadfield, the four Athlete :ivllo will' represent New Zealand at'the Olympic Games at Antwerp. The Euripides is ; due to leave, Australia ,about June 18. -Miss Walrond's father is also accompanying the team, s his fare an,l expenses' beintf paid out of a separata fund raised by' the Auckland Centre • The question of including Lindsay in'the team has now been definitely dropped, advice having been received that he will not be available. ; Tto question of finance was discussed at some length by the council, it being reporter that sufficient funds had not yet been subscribed to send the team abroad Some two or'three hundred .pounds had yet to be raised, and the council; resolved to wait until advices' had been received from certain centres before approaching the Government's ».'a' last resort for assistance. Practically the whole of the money raiseu. far has been subscribed, in Wellington and Auckland. , ' .
