SUPPLIES FROM AUSTRALIA. Until New Zealand is able lo get her own phosphatic manures from Nauru the country wiM have to deneud lor supplies of "superphosphate on Australia. Mr. Massoy has been continually making requests to tho Australian Government to ponn:t tho export of a oonsiderablu quantity of superphosphates ,to New Zealand, tho Australian Government being unwilling to allow unrestricted export owing to tho country's need for all' the fertilisers in siyht.' Mr.. Mnssey stated yesterday that in response to repeated representations the Australian Government had ajrrMd to the export Of 2300 tons of superphosphates to New Zealand. There may be some difficulty in afi-anging for the shipment of this cargo to New «eniand, but these difficulties will no doubt be got over, and the fertiliser will be very gladly i taken ,by. producers a;ll over (lie country, who havebeen extremely anxious about supplies for many months.
