The general impression was that it was a false start, but after nearly three' seconds ArrowBmith, Amythas, and Karo moved oil m the order named. Turning into the straight tho trio closed on Eight and Lett. Once into line for homo, Amythas shot out and went on to win very comfortably by three lengths from Arrowsmith, who was four lengths in front of Karo. Right and Left was beaten off.
