COMMITTEE MEETS TO-DAY. Tho Conciliation Committee which is to investigate the dispute with the Railway Department as affecting the Amalgamated Society of Railway' Ser-. vants will meet to-day. Mr. G. B. Bullock,- superintendent in the Dominion for tho New Zealand Shipping Com-' pany. is to be chairman of the commit-, , tee j the representatives of the Department will be Mr. J. M'Donald, Assist-ant-General Manager, Mr. A. W. Mouat,' chief clerk, and Mr. G. M'Art- , ney, advertising manager; the A.S.R.S. • representatives will bo Messrs.. R. Hampton (president), M. J. Mack (secretary), and F. Carr. / •Li the case of the tribunal to deal with the dispute as affecting the locomotive men, the arrangement is that two outside representatives are to bo -j selected. The E.F.C.A. have cominate.l Kfessrs. W. D. Hunt, and J. SDickson, M.P. Ths Government, nominees cannot yet be announced. The appointment has been offered to two ■ gentlemen, but one of them has not yet advised that he will accept it.
