It was also de--cided to hold a mass meeting for women only, and ask permission to. use the main ■ street for one day's campaign, for securing signatures of those willing to refrain from buying as suggested. A : resolution was also forwarded to tho Government asking for assistance in the control of the prices of the output of • local industries.
