There was a strong market for prime mntton, but all classes of in- £ ferior fat stock were in'poor request. p Store sheep—The yarding was smaller v than at recent sales; and generally tho J sheep were of inferior quality. Tho de- t mand was fairly firm, lambs and good- J class wethers being eagerly sought. Forward lambs made 203, Gd. to 255.; ordin- j ary lambs, 15s. 3d, to 18s. lOd, j cull 0 lambs, 7s. 6d. to lis. 24; two and four- c tooth ewes, 2Gs. 6d.; inferior, 245. 6d.'; d and 8-tooth ewes, 225, to 245.
