I A public questions committee was appointed to which a niunber of important Questions wero relegated. . | In his presidential address Mr. M'Gre- ' gor surveyed at length tlie operations of the association during the year, and referred to tho results of the general elections, and to the problem of tho high cost of living. A motion accepting tho address and heartily thanking tho president was osirriod unanimously. The national lecturer, the Eev. Howard Elliott, gave a comprehensive roport on tlie association's activities. Tho report was adonted. Tho financial report and balanccsheet were presented, and after considerable diBCUBBion was unanimous]y adopted. liemits on tho agenda occupied tho Attention of the conference all the afternoou.
