RAILWAY DISPUTES
-4 A.S.R.S. COMMITTEE MEETS TOMORROW. Tho committeo which is to investigate tho dispute between the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants and the Railway Department is to meet to-morrow. It is still uncertain who are to be the representatives of tho two parties. _ Tho composition of the committee to deal w*ith tlii dispute of the locomotive men is to bo different. The adjudicators of this disputo are to bo choson by the parties, but there is no stipulation tlmt they are to be selected from tile union oh the one hand or from tho Department on the other hand, The E.F.C.A. havo chosen two outside assessors, they ask the Government to do likewise. Tho representatives of the association arc to be Messrs. AV. D. Hunt, head of 'the firm of Messrs. Wright, Stephenson and Co., and' Mr. J. S. Dickson, who has always shown a great deal of interest in railway matters, and especially, in the concerns of the locomotive men.
