CASES ON SHIPPING AT LYTTEL-' TON. Br Telegraph—Press Associattoa Christchurch, May 10. A fireman on the Wahine was found on Saturday evening to be suffering from influenza, and was removed to the Christchurch Hospital. The firemen's quarters on the Wahino were subsequently fumigated, and other sleeping accommodation was found for the men before sailing. Tho second steward of the Paloona, also suffering from influenza, was admitted to hospital last evening. CASES IN ROTORUA. 'By Taloeraioh—Press Association.' Rotorua, May 10. Though there is a onsiderablo number of cases of sickness in Rotorua there is no serious epidemic of influenza. The cases in general are mild. By Telegraph—Press Association.' Auckland, May 10. Three hundred and seven cases of influenza were reported during tho 18 hours' ended at noon to-day, nine being severe. Of these 110 wore mild cases, and one severe case occurred in the city; and 115 mild and four severe coses in tho suburbs. During the 24 hours ended noon on Saturday 105 cases (including IS severe) wsro reported.
