May S, 9.10 p.m.) London, May '4, The Chancellor of the Exchequer states tlmt he is preparing reparations claims of which tho admitted amount is notifiable to Germany by tho Reparations Committee boforo May 1 next for discharge withill thirty years. The Government will set eaide iroui the first reparation received fivp millions sterling for payments in certain easts to private individuals on account of losses for which they claitu reparation, although no legal claim exists.—lmperial NOws Service.
