The liriking'up of the second- . ary' sohools'women teachers' with the AVomen Teachers' Association, practically all'joining; was another matter for" satisfaction. Branches of the Dominion Association are this example, and ot6 welcoming the secondary women ""teachers.as members. . The W.W.T.A. is affiliated .now with the Workers' Educational Association, and with the Women's National Council. It was pointed out. that * innior'teachers found it almost impes- .-.:■■ Bible to' secure accommodation within their means. an<t> action on. their -behalf . was. urgently needed.'- .Tlie letter was approved by the meeting. t / ".The election of officers was'as follows: '.'—President. Miss Goad;.'vice-presidents, Miss.Edwards and Miss Cook;-lion, secretary, Miss Turner;, lion. ..treasurer, Miss Lea;' committee, Misses Muuro, Kennedy, -Adlington,' Hargreaves, and Thornton.. . - - '' .
