Parr, Minister of Education states that in view of the dissatisfaction with tho Riadiiiß of teachers, lie proposes to summon all inspectors to a Dominion conference in Wellington 011 May 12 with two teachers -a lady and a gentleman—from oaoh district to put "forward tho teachers point of view. Tho Director and As-sistant-Pircstor •of Education will a|> \ ten .1 the conferenco, and Mr. Pair will preside. Tho Minister said that lio could take advantago of tho opportunity to discuss ono or two other matters re* luted to tlio main question. Ho lcnow that no grading would satiny everybody. but he hoped to dear the cir and remove somo discontent.
