FARMERS' DISTRIBUTING COMPANY
DIRECTORS RESIGN THEIR POSITIONS. Sir James Wilson (chairman), Messrs. H. J. Richards, John Balsillie, and Thomas Moss, together with the general manager of the company (Mr. A. Leigh Hunt), have resigned their connections with the New 7,ealaiul Farmers' Cooperative Distributing Company. Sir James Wilson, who is president of the Board of Agriculture, and of the New Zealand Farmers' Union, and Messrs. Richards, Balsillie, and Hunt liavw been associated with the company since it was formed about twenty years ago. Startine with a capital of ,£SOOO, the company now ha 9 a subscribed capital of ,£200,000, and its share list contains the names of 2300 farmers. There nro touches of tho company at Feildinc, Wanganui, Masterton, Marton, and Taihape, and the annual Volume of business is now Last year tho concern handled 20,000 Dales of wool. Sir James Wilson (chairman) and Mr. Leigh Hunt (managing director), of tho Dominion Farmers' Institute, Ltd., will still hold their officos on that body.
