MILD CASES IN CHMSTCHUBCH. By Teleirranh-Pross Association. Christchurch, April IG. . The. District Office of the. Public Health Department lias been informed that a few more, cases of influenza have occurred at Christ's College which .is part'y closed; but steps are not being taken to close any other scholastic institutions in the city. , While it is principally the schools that have come under the. public notice there are manv adults down with mild influenza in Christchurch. However, Die Health authorities state that no pneumonic easo has been reported. Probably there aro moro cases of a mild type than would appear from the figures issued by (he Department, since many patients aro lying up at homo without calling in medical attention; but according to-the Department there is no cause whatever for alarm.' l
