CORINTHIC ARRIVES. The Shaw-Savill liner Oorinthic arrived :in the'stream on Saturday morning and berthed at No. 1 (jueen'B Wharf at 4 p.m. The vessel left London on February 19 for Southampton, where she embarked her passengers and sailed tho following day. Newport News waß reached on March 4, and thp vessel bunkered there. She resumed her voyage on March 11, arriving at Colon on March 17. Panama was cleared on March-19. Fine weather was experienced throughout the trip, till Friday evening, when tho vessel ran into tnc :gale that had been raging for the pre- • vious 14 hours. The Port Chalmers is to sail this afternoon for Waitara and Wanganui to load. The vessel is to return to Wellington to complete, sailing finally on April 26. SCALES LINE SAILERS. .The Bona left San Frartfsco on Saturday week for Auckland with case oil. The ' Raupo is loading timber at Opua, for Sydney. From the New South Wales port she will go to Newcastle to load coal for Picton. The Yaabcl is due in San Francisco in about a week's time from Harotonga.. After discharge of her copra sho is to toad cr.se oil for New Zealand. PATEEXA'S RUNNING. The Union Company advise that the Patcena will pick up her usual running today, sailing at 1.30 p.m. for I'ictoa and Nelson. ■ '■ TAINUI DUE TO-DAY.
