HOTEL ACCOMMODATION
Sir,—l endorse your correspondent, "C.T.," in nearly everything ho has alleged in his letter to you of- April 9. I travel a little and note with disgust the matters ho complains of. Only quito recently I was called uiwn in a country town to pay 3s. 9d. for a breakfast d undoubtedly inferior food. I agree wiuf your correspondent that the tar is tho all-important thing in practically all the houses, and that it is high lime the Government stopped in; it is of no use appealing to licensing committees, who, in most instances, are tradesmen residing in the vicinity of the hotels, and who from that verv fact would necessarily dislike to discuss the. matters referred to.—l am, etc., T „^„ T , ANTI-PROFITEER.
