Im u phristchurch, U. , At the .Magistrate's Court to-day, oiiarles Jones, auctioneer, was charged, under Section 5 of the Additional Wad 1 Regulations, with selling hrertrms without a permit, and 'William Atkins was charged with purchasim/ hrearms without a permit. The .firearms were two old' rifles, winch were Bold by public auction. The defendants who pleaded ignorance of tho regulations, -wore ordered to pay costs.
