During Easter the Wellington Senior Boys'- cricket team defeated the Canterbury team by six wickets and 105 runs at Jliigley Park, Christchurcli. Wellington's score, 2G3, was made mainly by two ■ batsmen—L. Calvert, who was bowled after reaching 101, and T. Barr, wiin made CI. Canterbury replied with 130 runs. Tucker, seven for 50, was tliP most: successful bowler for Wellington. In the second innings Wellington put on 112 .runs for four and Canterbury were (TismTssed for 140 runs.
