Davidson was to be selected to represent Nov Zealand, as delay was interfering with subscriptions, . It was reported that Miss \ lolet Wnlroni would not make the journey to Antwerp unless accompanied by her father and ndviee was received that the id.m' o f Mr. Wah-ond accompanying his daughter would not be entertained unless his expenses were paid privately. Evm then, it was doubtful if lie wild acccui pally the team. t It is not likely thnt -Aliss Walrond will go. It was decided not to circulate collection cards until something definite is known as to the final selection of the team. . . ' It was reported that promises of substantial subscriptions had teen received, but these were conditional upon the selection of G. Davidson.
