MISSING SCOW KAHU

' Captain Berridge, a brother-in-law of Mr. Sampson, the owner and engineer nt the, missing scow Kaliu, arrived here last liijfht from Whakatanc, and lias iiired a launch to leave here to-day to search the Aldermen and Mercury Islands for any trace of the missing vessel. The Marine Department advised yesterday that tho Government fishing launch Nora had been dispatched from Auckland to search for the Kalm. Sho will scour Mercury Islands and the vicinity, and the east coast of the Barrel' Islands. She will also probably prnrend to Mtiko Ilinnu and Cuvier Island to sec if the keepers on those islands have seen anything of the missing vessel. "
