HOME SERVICE LEAGUE
A general meeting of the Wellington branch of the Home Service League was hold in the Chamber of Commerce Hall last night: Mr. E. Vine presided, and about twentv members were nrfsent. Mr. Vine'said that the objects, tor which the league hnd been called-seemed to be getting nearer. 'Rood progress had beeirmade.'' Branches were springing up throuirlKint the Dominion,- and in wine centres they were, strong. The Wellington'hraneh had n strong membership. Thcfwretary reported that- the Tlegistrar would not allow the organisation to register as Mm "New Zealand Soldiers' Association." He would accept the name, "New Zealand.Home Service League.' The meeting.,decided to apply for registration of.the league under'this title.
