The report was it\s follows,:— Uniler the -proposed al.terfvtion tjie city .sections, viz., Lambton Station -to Courtenay ;Place .and ■Vivian 'S.t-wet, will be known as the No. ;1 section, .and all lines w.ill be treated as radiating .outwards /from these centre sections.' .This alteration in ;the .case of the city will .necessitate .the following.:sijfijit .restriction in the use of concession'tickets: —'In -the case of cars .proceeding rfroin termini in the sou thorn 'portions of the .system, as, for instance,' .Newtown and 'Jvilbirnie to Tliorndpn.or 'Botanical /Gardens, concession 'tickets punched before the cars reach Courtenay 'fPJaoe.or 'Veitcji and Allan's will .not 'be available for 'Thorndon after passing Lambton Station or for Botanical Gardens and Karori after passing the Government Buildings. The .same will a,pply .in -the. case of cars -running from Thorndon, Botanical Gardens, 'or W.adestown to the southern ■portions of the system, ,when •eoncessioA ■•tickets puiiohed prior-to -leaching Smthton Htntion -or the Buildings will .not be available '.beyond Courtenay Place -or •Voitoh and Allan's.
■On the Karori 'line the four .sections ■aid 'to remain as at present, .with cash fares ..as under :-One to two seotions, 2d.; three -sections, 3d.; four sections, --1<1.; Government 'Buildings to .Karori "Park, 5d.; Courtenay Place, do'Karori Council Chnmbors or iCorori Park, !>d. The .pre-: sent .city concession tickets, including the one, two, -three, and 'four-section tickets " to be available ,-on the Karori ■line, and the following new concession tickets introduced: I'ive-section ticket, Is. Gd.; six-section U-trip i ticket,
