BATTLE CLASPS
STATEMENT BY MR, CHURCHILL.
(Rec. March 25, 0.15 a.m.) London, 'March 23. Mr. W. S. Churchill (Secretary of State for War) stated in the House of Commons that the . question of battle clasps was being investigated. He expressed the opinion that ten named battle clasps ought to cover the war in France, and two or three for the other theatres. They had to, deal with six or seven million medals. He could not undertake that the medals should lie kept back until the clasps were completed.— Imperial News Service.
