» By Telegraph—Preps Association Waipawa, Marcli 24. The Catholic Church was gutted by fire early this morning. The flames had obtained a good hold when the outbreak was discovered, nml the fire travelled rapidly. The, re started in the sanctuary, but the cause is not known. The building wns insured for .C'sso and the furnishings for | ,£175 in the Standard Office, and the organ for ■5375 in live Norwich Union. The loss is estimated at about .£2OOO.
