•' At Petono this week is i known as ', Memorial Week, and a series of .entertainments is being hold at tho Empiro Theatre.with the object of raising funds • for the erection of a suitable memorial to the memory of those who have fallen in the great war. - Last night a big audience approved of tho programmo submitted bv the Cheero .Girls, and it is expected that quite as many will be there to-night to witness tho entertainment tho Scottish Society have arranged for tho "Scotch Night.'' To-morrow's programmo is to bo mado up .of dancing by tho pupils of Miss Rising, and elocutionary itonis by those . who have studied under Mr. J.
