London, March 17. , At the wool sales there was a fair selection of merinos and crossbred*. Prices were harder, and there was more Continental competition. Sales included —Cross over May. 7S.WL; ASW. Merrick, 117(1.; Carlingford, Sid. and 81d.—Atis.N.Z. Cable Assn. (Fee. March 20, 5.5 p.m.) London, March 18. At the wool sales there was a better selection of merinos and erossbrcds. Prices wore harder for all sorts. The record price of 131.U1. was secured for scoured first combing CWC over 25, the avcrnee being 123 d. The sales included New Zealand Gear, 56d. On the Bradford market there is n healthy tone, and more business is being done. For Ill's 15Gd. to 15!) d. was paid; fill's 93d.; -tO's 12d.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. (Rec. March 21, 5.5 jkiti.)
