FREE PASSAGES
WIDOWS OF BESERYISTS.
The War Office notifies that it has been dee'ded that free passages to the United- Kingdom iiVy bo granted to widows and orphans of Imperial .Uesorvists recalled to the colours from abroad on mobilisation, and-who' have died whilst serving during, the war, subject to the following reservations:(1) Each case to be one of proved hardSl (2)'Free passages only to bo given to children in c&ses where the mother isXrning to the United Kingdom, or where they are orphans. . (3) When the reservist lived in a selfgoverning colony, the wife and family onlv to be riven passages, provided the wife had emigrated within three years before the husband's death. Special case, of over three years may be allowed lor Ironical countries. : ; ' for passages should bo submitted to the War Office. London, not later than March 31, 1921, for consideration always prqvxled. that when applications for passages are not made later than that date, passagesw> be provided, other conditions for entitlement being fulfilled even though embarkation cannot be arranged for until later.
