PRISONERS AT LARGE
9 AI.IENS ESCAPE FROM FFATHEESTON. News was received yesterday by the • Superintendent of Police that three aliens detained.at Feathereton had escaped by breaking through the floor of their cell. The names and description of the men are as follow:— „ Arthur Ivanoff Muravleff, alias MaJidle, a Russian, 29 years of ago, sft. Bin. in height, blue eyes, very fair complexion, clean shared. Olaf Hollinen, a Finn, SI years old, 6ft. Bin. in height, fair hsir, fair complexion, hazel eyes, scar over left eye, clean ; shaved. Nicholson Petersen, a German, 3G years of age, sft. Siin. in height, fair complexion, and fair hair, scar over right eye- » ..... •There are also three civilian prisoners at large—fin habitual criminal who es- t wiped from Wangauui Gaol while await-' ing trial; gaol-breaker who got away from the Auckland Gaol some weeks ago: and a woman who was to hare appeared in tho Magistrate's Court, Wellington,' on c. minor charge on Tuesday, but who lias mysteriously disappeared.
