Yesterdav afternoon tho defendant, who has besn indisposed to' some time, gave evidence repudiating the allegations ot plaintiff. She contended -that sho had merely pushed plaintiff, and not struck her. as was alleged. . The' Masristrate.- after, reviving the. evidence, said that there was. not sufficient provocation to justify such an assault. The assault was a serious one. as evidenced by rthe medical testimony. Judgment would be for plaintifl for jCSo 7s. .3d., and costs amounting to ilO 106.
