THE STOCKS IN STORE. A return furnished by tho Department of Imperial Supplies shows that tho quantity of meat in cold stores throughout the country was 5,429,086 freight carcasses on February 15. Of this quantity 089,227 carcasses were in Auckland district; 640,627 in Poverty -Bay; 499,705 in Hawke's Bav; 217,265 in Taranaki; 1616,899 in Wellington; 43,5H in Nelson and Marlborough; 720,966 in North Canterbury; 479,61.8 in South Canterbury; 272,492 in Otngo; 249,663 in Southland.
