" REPRESENTATIVES -ON CITY COUNCIL SELECTED. ■ The-Karori Borougli Council met last night. The Mayor (Mr. B. G.-H. Burn) presided, and there wero also present: Councillors J. Caughley, L. G. Porter, J. W. Henderson, T. A. Munt, H. Harrison, J. C. Fulton, and F. F. Laurensou. It was decided, on the recommendation of the Finance Committee, to pay the workmen in the council's employ, an increase, of Is. per day as from January 1.
