CHAMPION PAIRS TO-DAY. • Altiiough the Wellington Bowling Centre deemed it advisable after last Thursday to postpone the.champion pairs games until, to-day, the weather up till last evening was anything but favourable for tli'fi important fixture. .It is hoped that the conditions will bo less boisterous to-day. The games aro scheduol to commence at 9 a.m., and if tho weather is favourable the champion pair, should be found by li p.m. Tho champion singles of tho Wellington Centre will be played out between nominees of the various clubs to-morrow (weather permitting), ROTORUA TOURNAMENT. I)y Tolesrrnph—Press Association. Rotorua, March 1, Rotorua Bowling Tournament No. 2 was concluded in beautiful weather. The (jemi-final.s were played in the morning. Pakes (Ilolornn) Iwat Coulthurst (West End, Auckland), 19-18; Foy (West End) brat Morrison (To 1 Aroha), 23-19. -In the final, Pakes beat Foy easily. Following are the teams and tho scores: -Tapper, Newby, Hunt, Pakes (Rotorua) beat Andrews, Manson (sub.), Contts, Foy (West End), The winners, who played an ndmirablo game, handed Ikick the prizes for a charitable object to Ik selected by members of the team.
