« The annual general meeting of the Thistlo. Football Ciub wns held last week, and was well attended. The bal-ance-sheet foi last- season, as submitted , by the secretary, showed the club to be ; iii a healthy financial state, a no' was : passed unanimously. i The chairman discussed the prospects , for the coming 6eason and predicted a ■ successful future for the club. It was decided to send a senior team to Wanganui at Easter, in the event of the Wanganui Association being agreoablo. Shonid a sufficient number of players register, a junior team will be entered for the Wellington competitions this season. A proposal_ that the affiliation to the Scottish Society and Pipe Band bo renewed, subject to their approval, waß pnssed unanimously The election of officers resulted as follows:—President, Mr. Richard Dwyer; vice-presidents, Messrs.
