INSULATED SHIPPING
: (, PROSPECTS FOR MARCH AND APRIL. By Telecranh— Prop? Association. Auckland, February 29. The Prime Minister received « cablegram from the High Commissioner to-day in regard to insulated shipping to . the effect that during March 20 ships of 3.081,000 cubic feet capacity will load in New Zealand, and four ships of 1,304,000 cubic feet w ; " load in April. Eleven ships previously allotted to April will be delayed to May or June. Sir Thomas Mackenzie says that the Board of Trade regrets the delays, which are outside its control. The board is endeavouring to obviate delays as far as congestion is concerned by stimulating consumption. The shipping season for Australian .fruit ends in April, awl tlm board will make arrangements . for a large proportionate share of the tonnage thus rendered available to be given to Now Zealand to make good diversions of shipping that occurred in the latter part of last year.
