Y.M.C.A.
In connection with the Y.M.C.A. membership campaign nt present in progress a successful "social" was held on Thursday evening, in the ■ association's room, Willis Street. A pleasant programme" of games, music,, and elocutionary items being" contributed by Miss Kolly and 'Mr. V. H. French. Last night the boy*' department welcomed back Mr. E. M. Ryan, the Ijjvs' work secretary, who has just returned from overseas. During the weekend special moetiwrs liave been arranged with Mr. T. M. Haslett, M.A., the recently appointed national religious work secretary of the Y.M.C.A. Mr. Haslett is an ex-oflicer of the Royal Plying Corps, nnd during the war saw considerable service in Vrmicc. This evening Mr. Haslett will speak to tto members of the boys' department.
