FROZEN MEAT IN LONDON
DELIVERIES MORE THAN DOUBLE AVERAGE CONSUMPTION. (Rec. February 25, 7.25 p.m.) London, February 21. Smithfield dealers estimate that the frozen meat delivered in London weekly is now more than double the average consumption. The surplus has becomo mountainous and some will be stored for years. Sir Thomiw Mackenzie ridicules the fixed official prices, and believes that long storage of Now Zealand mutton will prejudice the public against it. —United Service,
