RAIN STOPS PLAY
The Wellington Bowling Centre is experiencing a run of bad luck in getting off its championship games tins season. In the case of the rinks last week, ram interfered with the progress of tho games, and yesterday the pairs tourney suffered a similar drawback. Owing to iho rain in the forenoon a 6tart was not made with the first round until 12.45 p.m., and out of seven games only four were completed before fairly heavy tain prohibited further play.
