Welch were present at the monthly meeting of the Harbour Board held last night. Leave of aEsonoo was granted to Messrs. W. Cable, C. B. Norwood, It. A. Wright, and C. E. Daniel. • The statement of finances was as follows:—Pass books—Current account, credit; .£17,481'145. lOd.; imprest account, JM259 18s. id.; on fixed deposit, ,£OO,OOO. Payments—Accounts and wages, ,£25,805 25.; progress payment on contract, ,£462; salaries for February, .£1249 os. 10d.; : ; tt.ta.l..; .£27,516 2s. 10(1. The following recommendations of the Wharves and Accounts Committee wero .adopted:—(l) To affix the seal of the "board'to memo, of transfer and dedication as a public road of portion of the v.tbaifd's. reserve,' Seatoun, abutting on Awa Boad. (2) To advertise for tendors dosing at 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 24, ior ( thefollowing annual supplies and services:—CoiJ (A, B, C, and D Schedules), removal of rubbish, cartage (contracts Nob. land 2). (3) To adopt the engineer's teport re purchase of • additional dredge ■plant required.-
