FRENCH LOAN
TO BE ISSUED IN LONDON. (Eec. February 22, 5.5 p.m.) London, February 18. Mr. Austen Chamberlain (Chancellor of the Exchequer), in the House of Commons, announced that Britain had assented to the issue of a French, loan on the London market, the proceeds of which will be spent entirely in Britain. The amount and date of the loan have not been fixed.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
