The latest development in the shipping Btrike is that the steamer Mi'tarnm has left port with ft full cargo and passengers for Singapore. The move was so well covered that the executive of the Engineers' Institute were unaware whero the engineers wero obtained. It is believed that the- men accepted tho terms oilered by 'the inter-State companies at the beginning of tho strike. It is understood that the Montoro will sail within a few days.—Press Assn. >
