INQUEST

At the inquest on Charles llookfv, sen. ior dispatch clerk of the Christchurch Telegraph Ollire, the widow deposed that deceased rose between B and 7 o'clock yesterday morning, apparently in kiß usual slate of health, lie helped his nephew to unload some wood, and later complained of a pair in llio chest, but said lie though! it was indigestion. Later witness was called by her son. and found deceased on the door of a. bednoni. The doctor was called and ho pronounced life extinct. A verdict was returned that death was caused by heart failure, duo to degeneration of tho .heart uuiflclo.
