DISTRICT CONFERENCE. By Telegraph—Spccial Correspondent. Eketahuna, February 17. Tho annual Wellington District Conference of tho Manchester Unity Order of Oddfellows was continued at Eketahuna to-day, when resolutions were carried opposing the after-discharge sick benefit proposed bv the Government for soldier members. The conference favoured increasing tho rates of sickness benefit of brethren nn a uniform basis. Tho election of officers resulted as follows:—Hook examiners, Bro. A, Hurray (P.P.G.H. Britannia Lodge) and Bro. A. I'errin (P.P.G.H. Britannia Lodge); auditors, Bro. D. C. Ludwig (P.P.G.H. Antipodean Lodge), and Bro. A. Perrin (Britannia I/odue); examining and relieving officer, Bro.
