DISTRICT CONFERENCE. By Telegraph—Spccial Correspondent. Eketahuna, February 17. Tho annual Wellington District Conference of tho Manchester Unity Order of Oddfellows was continued at Eketahuna to-day, when resolutions were carried opposing the after-discharge sick benefit proposed bv the Government for soldier members. The conference favoured increasing tho rates of sickness benefit of brethren nn a uniform basis. Tho election of officers resulted as follows:—Hook examiners, Bro. A, Hurray (P.P.G.H. Britannia Lodge) and Bro. A. I'errin (P.P.G.H. Britannia Lodge); auditors, Bro. D. C. Ludwig (P.P.G.H. Antipodean Lodge), and Bro. A. Perrin (Britannia I/odue); examining and relieving officer, Bro. W. 11. Hadeley (P.P.G.H.): delegates to 8.H.C., Bro. W. ,T. Clark CP.P.G.H. Antipodean Lodge), Bro G. Jl. Godber (Prov. C.S. Britannia Lodge), Bro. A. C. Holms (P.P.G.H. Unity Lixlge), Bro. C. J. Delacey (Heart of Oak Lodge, Prov. G.H.), Bro. A. G. Steffensen (deputy G.H. Petonc Lodge); Prov. G.JL Bro. W. G. Trench (D.G.H. Nowtow'n. Lodge); Depulv-Prov. G.M., Bro. A.'G.
