NO MORE LARGE VESSELS TO BE BUILT. Rome, February 15. Admiral Sechi, Minister of Marine, in an interview, said that large vessels were no longer necessary in modem fleets. Italy was foregoing the construction of suner-dreadnoughts, because they were ill-protected against submarines, and also because of their huge cost. Since the armistice. Italy has disposed of fortythree vessels, and tho sale of ninety others is in progress—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
