5 CLOSING OF CANTERBURY SCHOOLS. By Association. Chrlstchurch, February 3. The District, Health Officer has received instructions to close immediately all schools in the Canterbury district, as a, precautionary measure against the spread of influenza. By Telegraph—Press Association. Napior, February 3. All the Hawke's Bay schools have been closed indefinitely owing to influenza. FURTHER CASES ON BREMEN. (Rec.-February 3, 10.20 p.m.) Sydney, February 3. There are seven further cases of influenza amongst the crew of tha Bremen, which arrived yesterday from AVellinglon. None ore serious.—Press Assn. At tho Tccmest of the Public Health Department, the Wellington Girl|! College will not open next week, but will remain closed indefinitely.
