FURTHER RESULTS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Palmerston North, January 211. Glorious weather favoured yesterday's games at the Manawatu croquet tournament. A good many matches were played off. and the finals will commence todav at nine o'clock, when the iirst round of the open doubles final will bo contested. Results;—

Ladies' Onen Singles (North Island Championship).—First round, second mines—Mrs. Richardson beat Mrs. Hamilton. 28—19. Second round, second mimes Mi's. M'Eae beat Mrs. Murray Avnsley. 28-8; Mrs. Richardson beat Mrs. Henderson, 28-4. Third game,— Mrs. M'Eae boat Mrs. Richardson, 28-22.

Third gamesRoss beat Stratton, 2G-20. At a well-attended meeting of croquet players' to-night it was decided to form n. New Zealand croquet association. All clubs represented pledged themselves to affiliation. The association will control New Zealand and North and South Island championships.
