CONFERENCE STILL SITTING.
The Dominion Conference called to consider tho tramways dispute, continued its deliberations yesterday, and adjourned last eveuing till 11.30 this morning, The Auckland delegates r.rrivcd /it midday, and took part in tho discus* sion. The employers' interests in tho northern city aro represented by Messrs. W. J. Hol'dsworth (chairman of tho Auckland Public Service Committee v.-hir'i <lp:iN with the tramways) nnd J. J AValldate (general manager of tho tramways), while the Tramways Federation is represented by Messrs. P. Fr.y.or nnd A. Barnes. Mr. J. Roberts, of tho Transport Federation, was also present. Throughout yesterday the of wages and hours of work was deba.cd, and it is understood Hint the employers liavo mado an offer in regard lo tho rates of wages.
