GERMAN NAME RESTORED
During the war the nnmes of a number of townships in Quoensl.mil were changed in nccordaneo with public sentiment. One of these was the township of Marburg, in the West Moroton- district, which was altered to Townshcnd. in honour of the British General who defended Knt-el-Amnra, in Mesopotamia. The Railway Department, which is tinder the control of Mr. Fihelly, has, says a Brisbane advice, decided to rovert to the old German nanio.
