UPPER HUTT TRAGEDY
. 5 CHILD ACCIDENTALLY SHOT. The police have received advice of a fatal shooting are'dent at Ehdentown, In the Upper Hutt district. It appears that on Saturday Priscilla h'outhey, a child aged three years, was accidentally shot by another child, aged seven years, who had been handling a pea riile. The details are meagre, but apparently by some means the loaded gun came into the possession of a number of ihldren of tender years, with the result that the deceased was shot through the head.
